By Dr. Ajay Aggarwal (Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon) Some journeys stay with you long after they end not because of where you travel, but because of the people you meet, the knowledge you share, and the warmth you carry back home. My visit to Srinagar for ENDOGYN 2025 Nurturing Wellness, Empowering Women was one such unforgettable experience. Organized by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Govt. Medical College, Srinagar, the conference brought together brilliant minds from across the country. Being invited as Esteemed Faculty was an honour but what touched me most was the love, respect, and connection I experienced throughout my stay. Arriving in Srinagar: A Warm Welcome From the moment I reached GMC Srinagar, I felt at home. The organizing committee extended hospitality that was both heartfelt and humbling. Their dedication to women’s healthcare and academic excellence was evident in every detail of the event. My visit included: Delivering a Keynote Address on “Deep Endometriosis First Surgery, Complete Surgery.” Serving as the Operating Surgeon for the live surgical workshop on 1st November. Performing surgeries at LD Hospital, Srinagar. Engaging with postgraduate students during clinical discussions and training. Each moment reminded me why I am passionate about this field. Inside the Operation Theatre: Sharing What I Love Most Operating at LD Hospital was one of the highlights of my visit. Surrounded by motivated residents and a supportive surgical team, we discussed techniques, refined approaches, and focused on improving patient outcomes. Together, we explored: Advanced endometriosis surgery Fertility-enhancing laparoscopic procedures Prolapse correction techniques Hysteroscopic management of infertility and AUB Teaching young clinicians always brings me immense joy; their curiosity and dedication inspire me to keep learning and growing. Meeting the TAC Warriors: A Deeply Emotional Moment One of the most touching experiences was meeting the TAC warriors. Their journey, strength, and trust in medical care make them true fighters. The warmth with which they welcomed me, the blessings, the affection, and the thoughtful gifts left me deeply moved. My family and I truly appreciate their love. Moments like these remind me that medicine is not only about procedures or diagnoses, it is about humanity, connection, and shared hope. Honoured as Esteemed Faculty Receiving the Esteemed Faculty Award at the conference was incredibly meaningful. The intricately designed plaque and shawl gifted to me will always hold a special place in my heart. Kashmiri Hospitality: Conversations That Stay With You Apart from the scientific sessions and surgeries, some of my most enjoyable memories came from sitting around a table with colleagues, sharing Kashmiri food, stories, and laughter. These conversations strengthened bonds, sparked new ideas, and reminded me how beautifully diverse our medical fraternity is. The local gifts, handcrafted bags, dry fruits, and souvenirs were chosen with so much love that I will cherish them forever. Scientific Highlights That Inspired Me The conference agenda was rich and insightful. Topics such as endometriosis, PCOS, infertility, urogynaecology, menopause, and pelvic floor disorders were discussed by experts from across India. Being part of such powerful academic exchanges reaffirmed my commitment to bringing the latest, evidence-based care to my patients at Amayra Healthcare, Chandigarh. Carrying This Experience Back Home I returned from Srinagar with a heart full of gratitude. This journey strengthened my belief that medicine is not just science it is compassion, collaboration, and constant growth. To everyone in Srinagar who welcomed me so warmly: thank you. You made this experience truly special for me and my family. Continuing the Mission at Amayra Healthcare As I step back into my routine in Chandigarh, I carry with me renewed energy to: Provide advanced laparoscopic and endometriosis surgery Support couples through infertility challenges Offer comprehensive, compassionate gynecological care Teach, mentor, and keep learning Every experience shapes us and my visit to ENDOGYN 2025 has enriched me both professionally and personally. My Journey to ENDOGYN 2025, Srinagar: A Heartfelt Experience Beyond Medicine
